1)The beach is very wide. Even when high tide comes in you have al the space to launch.
2)No cars are allowed to drive over the beach in front off the village center next to the hotel! So no danger of somebody driving over or through your lines.
3)The water is flatter then anywhere else in Cumbuco, especially when it is low-tide. This is due to an old reef about 300 meters inside the ocean where usually a nice wave breaks.
4)You will always find nice and helpful people to launch or put down your kite.

Beginner
Lessons:
A try out class: (First contact -
Beach control) -1.5 Hours
For those who wish to taste the sensation of the sport. We will teach you the
basics of kite piloting using smaller kites (trainer kites). You will practice
on the beach along your instructor.
Level 1: First Concepts & Kite
Control - 3 Hours
You learn basic meteorology and how to choose a safe kitespot, you will learn
about the equipment, how to set up and fly the kite.
You learn how to determine various power zones of the kite and how to use the
security system. You learn takeoff, landing and relaunching the kite in the
water.
In the end you will learn how to body drag, an incredible fun exercise, using
the power of the kite to drag your body through the water.
Level 2: Power Kite Time - 3 Hours
Once you have learned the basic handling
of the kite, it's time to learn techniques to control the power of the kite.
Body dragging towards the right and
left, use the kite with one hand, board recovery and finally water start
(taking off from the water on the board).
Level 3: Ride Board - 4
Hours
Gliding over the water after your water start is an amazing experience. The main
goal is to learn a continuous and smooth power control in able to keep
floating.
Continuous feedback of the instructor will help you to improve your kite skills
quickly. Once you are able to control the power and to keep your balance you
will learn to return to starting point (ride upwind)
Intermediate
Lessons:
This course is
designed for kiters who want to fresh up their knowledge, need to correct some key
points in their kite style or for riders that want to start making their first
jumps.
